I caught the bug years before picking up a camera. Back in highschool, I was training my eye and framing shots of the interesting things I would see. For some reason, it took me years to capture any of those images on film. Toronto Pride 2001 was my first big event. I wasn't shooting for anyone in particular, just for me. I walked away from that weekend with over a thousand photos (more than thirty rolls of film), and I was hooked.

These days, it's more than a hobby. I shoot professionally for the press, photograph and design show posters, and do headshots and general portraiture. My staple is show photography, where a quick eye and an intuitive understanding of what your equipment can do are a must. No matter what, I'm always having fun.

If you'd like me to come out and take photos at an event, or if you need headshots, promotional photos, or similar work done, I'm always interested in collaborating with new clients.

The Shutter bug

My first camera was a 35mm Nikon FE. So was my second. Those tough little SLR's started me out, and now I just can't stop snapping away.
